The TCD3000 SiA and TCD3000 Si gas analyzers utilize TCD (Thermal Conductivity Detector) technology. The operating principle of TCD is based on the difference in thermal conductivity of various gases. The technology is optimal for gases with high thermal conductivity (H₂, He) and provides signal linearity across the entire measurement range.
The Gases Archigas Analyzes
Archigas TCD gas analyzers were originally developed for the demanding requirements of the hydrogen industry. However, the technology is equally effective for measuring helium. Today, Archigas offers ready-made solutions for both gases and can adapt them to other binary and quasi-binary mixtures.
Hydrogen
The TCD3000 SiA gas analyzer detects explosive hydrogen concentrations in real time, for example to monitor the lower (LEL) and upper (UEL) explosion levels.
The explosion-proof design (ATEX Zone 1) allows the instrument to be installed directly in a hazardous environment (subject to the installation and operating requirements as defined in the technical specifications).

The TCD3000 Si gas analyzer is mounted directly in the process and requires no helium extraction from the system.
Direct inline installation eliminates losses of costly gas, critical for recovery systems.

Applications
TCD-based gas analyzers from Archigas address a wide range of applications across various industries.
Industries
Archigas solutions are used across key sectors of the hydrogen economy. Beside H₂ the gas analyzers provide precise monitoring of He, and other gases in demanding industrial environments.
About Archigas
The idea of founding a gas analyzer company was born in 2020 following the Hyvolution exhibition in Paris, where engineers at the booths complained about the inaccuracy, slowness, and complexity of hydrogen measurement.
"That's when we realized we needed to create an entirely new and better solution for gas analysis"

ContactsWhy Archigas Uses TCD Technology
Archigas uses TCD technology because it is particularly effective for measuring the concentrations of hydrogen, helium and other gases in binary and quasi-binary gas mixtures.
TCD technology is ideally suited for H2 und He because of their exceptionally high thermal conductivity relative to other gases. This enables fast, stable, and accurate results even under demanding industrial conditions at high pressure, humidity, and varying mixture compositions.
Engineers choose Archigas when accurate data is needed without complex sample preparation, without frequent maintenance, and no gas losses.
